A beautiful specimen of the Apennine wolf was saved yesterday by the technicians of the Majella National Park. The wolf had been caught in a trap of poachers and would certainly have died if it had not been found in time. These are extraordinary images of the assistance, taken by the same operators in the Park.

Nakoowolf, I think the wolf is female from the pictures, do you? The 4th paragraph translated says, "Found her physical condition, he was released in the wild." Is that shot in picture 6 the tranq or maybe antibiotic? Nice to see for once that the collar actually helped a wolf.
