Four gray wolf pups made their way from British Columbia to Minnesota June 23rd, 2010 as part of an intentional population reduction program in Canada.
Some argue wolves are the cause for fewer mountain caribou in Canada.
Callahan said the puppies look like they made the trip well but they look terrified after their long flight.
This Canadian project is looking at a “zero population growth” in targeted areas, and the WSC agreed to provide a home for the gray wolf pups — three males and one female.
ooooosh those little faces are precious. If this program is the one involving development of remote sterilization darts, I am against it.
Gawd they are gorgeous. I love the eyes and the markings on the BC Wolves, beautiful.
I hope it isn't the sterilization experiments, either. I don't agree with sterlizing any wild life. Just a bad, bad idea.
