"Last Chance Highway" on Animal Planet

The clock is ticking for millions of animals across the country. Shelters are over-crowded, many pet owners don't spay or neuter their animals, and there just aren't enough resources to go around. Still, thanks to some amazing people who have dedicated themselves to racing against that clock, animals are saved every day. Hundreds are rescued every week, even thousands a year, and most people don't even know it's happening.

Last Chance Highway is an eight-part series that focuses on the monumental mission of a dedicated handful of animal rescuers.
