Montana: 172   WOLF HUNT IN MONTANA HAS CLOSED 2/15/12

(includes subunit Wolves*)  There is now two one over quota!!

[*Yellowstone Wolf 642F was killed in Subunit 313/316 which is in Montana's backcountry in the remote Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness along the northern border of YNP.]

Chris, thanks for keeping us posted as to the latest numbers of Wolves killed in the hunt this season.  It's hard to read and imagine.

31 beautiful Wolves killed for no reason.  They committed no crime, hunter's and their families can not eat them.  Many packs are feeling the loss with winter around the corner, it will make life very hard for those that remain.

I know what you mean, Nakoowolf.  The number is already higher; 39.  It is going to be a long way to March. 

47 already.  This is indeed heartbreaking.
