Wolf Howl's 2008 National Wolf Awareness Week Contest Honorable Mentions

An Honorable Mention was given to Lorene McKinney, 17 of California for her Wolf poster entry. The poster had drawings she made of all of our Wolves and a written essay on why she liked Wolves and wants to work with them.

In the Adult Category an Honorable Mention goes to Christine Kirby of Illinois. Chris and her husband, Ken spent 5 days observing the Mexican Gray Wolves at the Brookfield Zoo. Chris was able to capture this stunning photo of Canis Lupus Baileyi. Chris volunteers long distance for our Preserve by sometimes writing the Wolf News for our Preserve's newsletter and is an avid poster in our forum.
