Green Anole

This lizard is called a Green Anole. Its scientific name is Anolis carolinensis. It is a slender lizard that measures around 8" long at maturity. It has a samll dorsal crest that is visible only during threat display. They are usually a pretty lime green but can change colors in seconds. They feed on flies, beetles, moths, spiders and other pesky insects. Wolf Howl is glad to have this lizard hanging on in the supply shed.
