Brown Thrasher

The Brown Thrasher perches atop a tree in Wolf Howl Animal Preserve. It has an unusual voice. It repeats it's musical sounds twice and then makes a quick smacking noise. It prefers to live in fields and woodland borders. They are in the same family with the Mockingbird. Picture by Maria Ferguson
