A county ban, he said, would force him to have Dakota euthanized.Thumbs Down  He wants regulation, but with a provision for existing dogs.Thumbs Up

On any given day, Belsky said, 85 to 100 wolf-dogs await placement. Her network of sanctuaries turned away more than 1,200 last year.Broken Heart

"Everybody’s full," she said. "Everybody."

"Wolves need to be in the wild, and dogs need to be dogs," she said. "Captive wildlife is an oxymoron." *

sources:  first and second article from lacrosssetribune

IMO, captive wildlife is an oxymoron meaning two contradictory terms are combined BUT it is the moron part of the vocabulary term that needs to be addressed.  Wild and/or domestic animals suffer from lack of education before they "can be."

I think that whole thing with the wolf-dogs have to stop, because every time they are these who pay for all, they are left in people's hands that can't raise them and always they suffer. To make a life that will suffer and pay for all  and its fate is never sure,if someone will decide to kill it no matter if it has some guilt, is awfulBroken HeartCryingBut it's really have to be done something to protect  and care for the already  born wolf-dogs,because they don't deserve to be killed, because of human mistakesSad

Another case of bad owners making everyone suffer, geez, if there weren't any bad owners or backyard breeders or puppy mills then we wouldn't need rescues, I can see Wisconsin going totally overboard on this.shakinghead-1.gif picture by muskyhusky
