Wisconsin State, County officials look to regulate wolf-dog hybrids

A county ban, he said, would force him to have Dakota euthanized.  He wants regulation, but with a provision for existing dogs.

On any given day, Belsky said, 85 to 100 wolf-dogs await placement. Her network of sanctuaries turned away more than 1,200 last year.

*  IMO, captive wildlife is an oxymoron meaning two contradictory terms are combined BUT it is the moron part of the vocabulary term that needs to be addressed.  Wild and/or domestic animals suffer from lack of education before they "can be."
